About this program
P3 awards fund university teams designing solutions for air quality, safe drinking water, waste reduction and sustainable materials. Phase I supports proof of concept ($25K); winning teams compete for Phase II awards up to $100K to move designs toward field deployment or commercialization.
Who can apply
US institutions of higher education applying on behalf of student teams. Interdisciplinary teams and minority-serving institutions are prioritized in review.

Applications are submitted through Grants.gov using the funding opportunity number listed on the official notice. Register your organization, complete the online application form, and upload a project narrative, budget and supporting documentation before the deadline. Late or incomplete submissions are not reviewed.
