About AusGrant

The research funding landscape, made legible.

AusGrant is a specialist R&D grants and incentives advisory. We maintain the most extensive database of research & development funding - every US state and the federal government today, expanding to 50+ countries - and help organisations turn the right opportunity into a funded application.

US research & development funding is scattered across more than fifty portals - every state runs its own programs, every federal agency its own solicitations, and no two publish deadlines, amounts or eligibility the same way. AusGrant exists to put that information in one place, in one format, kept current.

Our research desk tracks state economic-development agencies, federal SBIR/STTR solicitations and specialist funders week by week. Each program is distilled into a structured record - what it funds, who qualifies, how much, by when, and where to apply - with a plain-English summary designed to be read in thirty seconds, by a person or by a machine.

AusGrant grew out of the same team's work in R&D tax incentives, where we spent a decade helping companies document and claim research activity across jurisdictions. Grants are the other half of that picture: non-dilutive funding most eligible companies simply never hear about. The index is our answer to the question clients asked most - "what else is out there for us?"

Coverage

State and federal R&D grant programs across all 50 states, from $25K vouchers to $160M research engines.

Method

Every record is sourced from the administering agency and reviewed weekly. Status and deadlines are re-verified on each pass.

Independence

Listings are editorial, not paid. Agencies cannot buy placement, and we link every record to its official source.

How the weekly update works

Every week the AusGrant pipeline re-reads each official source - Grants.gov, SBIR.gov and state portals - adds newly announced programs, re-verifies amounts and deadlines, and retires anything that has closed. If a program is listed here, it was checked against its official source within the last week.
